Actually, I tried applying snap_31_19990920.diff.gz directly against
3.1-RELEASE, and ended up with a lot more rejects and a lot of complaints
about reversed patches.

I did apply snap_sys4c990410_19990829.diff.gz successfully against 4.0-CURRENT
with include and sys directories from 10 April 1999. No complaints when
patching, but many binaries (in sbin, usr.bin, and usr.sbin) run into problems
compiling with the newconfig header files. Should I be using the patches
only for building kernels, and use the original header files for building
binaries?

Thanks,
