Hello,

I'm trying use the newconfig patches and ran into problems with the latest
snapshot (snap_31_19990920.diff). A number of the patches for files in the
include and sys directories fail (about 60 of them), and patch complained that
a lot of the patches were reversed. I believe I've followed the instructions
at http://www.jp.FreeBSD.org/newconfig/patch.html correctly, but something is
obviously not working.

The steps I did were:
	1. obtain a copy of 3.1-release sources (I'm currently running 3.2, so
I didn't have sources available) via cvsup from cvsup2.freebsd.org
	2. mv include include.orig
	3. mv sys sys.orig
	4. tar xvzf ../newconfig/sys4c990410.tar.gz
	5. zcat ../newconfig/snap_31_19990920.diff.gz | patch -p1

Any thoughts on what I did wrong or where the problem is?

Thanks,
