True. Porting is hindered by all kinds of small bits and pieces.
Throwing together LKM's and stuff is not the issue. That is the fun
part... :-) Second, once changed, it can stay that way and only needs a
report when architectural changes require it. Besides, once learned
never forgotten.

The other things are much more hassle to keep up to date.
